Pritam Singh Bhalla Started His Journey As A Cinematographer With The Fim :::: Jatt Te Zameen ::::

There is always a dearth of good people in the world. A good person is one who thinks well of everyone. Today we are going to tell you about such a good person who made big hits with his cinematography and later acted in films. He also helped many directors in directing but never took his credit. His name is Pritam Singh Bhalla.

Pritam Singh Bhalla was born on 18 September 1962 in Amritsar. At the age of 12, Pritam Singh moved to Mumbai where he worked in a printing press. He was very much ambitious. But he had a hobby of acting and making films. Gradually he quit his job at the printing press and started working for Mumbai Film Light Man. His passion for acting and shooting gradually grew in him.

One day he met the famous Cinematographer "Manmohan Singh". He got a passion for films in Pritam Singh Bhalla and hired him as an assistant. He assitant in films like Put jattan de, Batwara, Sarpanch, Dushmani Di Agg, Waris (uncredit), Sapne sajjan ke (uncredit) and others.

In 1988, he was hired as a Cinematographer by Veerendera, a famous superstar of Punjabi industry. The film Jatt Te Zameen, which is being made under his direction, was shot.Munda Pat Leya set the song for the filming, where Veerender was shot by the assailants during the ongoing shooting. Veerendera died on the spot.

Pritam Singh Bhalla shot by two bullets one was below the knee and he was admitted to DMC Hospital, Ludhiana. He was under observation for 5-6 days. When they learned of Veerendera's death, they were devastated. He loved Veerendera Ji and his family very much.

After recovering, Pritam Singh Bhalla along with Veerendera's wife Pammi Veerendra completed his unfinished projects Dushmani di agg and Subedaar.Pritam Singh bhalla also acted in a song "Mar gye oye loko" from the movie Dushmami Di Agg.

He directed Preeti Sapru's Home Production which was earlier directed by Veerendera. Pritam Singh Bhalla directed the film from Preeti Sapru himself and gave his full support in directing.

He also advised Yograj Singh, a dialogue actor like a Pakistani film actor, to come as a hero. He also played the role of a farmer in Jagga Daku and a behind-the-scenes cinematographer. He has also been a cinematographer in films like Zakhmi Sher, Batwara(doctor),Ucha Pind (played the role of Judge in this film), Suche Moti (played the role of Parmveer's father), Door Nahi Nanakana & many more

Apart from this, Shavinder Mahal's film Pachtawa was directed by Pritam Singh Bhalla. But they did not take credit. Because when the film was offered to Shavinder Mahal for acting and directing, he refused to direct. But at the insistence of the producers, he sought the help of Pritam Singh Bhalla.

Apart from this he had a very good relationship with Hindi and Punjabi industry. From Rajesh Khana to Lake Dharminder, Veerendera, Yograj, Guggu Gill, Amar Noori, Sukhjinder Shera, Amzad Khan, Shatrughan Shinha, Baldev Khosa, Dara Singh, Deep Dhillon. He respected everyone.

Today the Punjabi industry has forgotten him. No Punjabi actor takes his name. Not remembering them. Industry salutes the living, forgets the dead. This custom is not of today, it has been going on for a very long time.

Pritam Singh Bhalla Kaul had a lot of stories written by him. He was to go to America to direct the film. But he died in a road accident on 23 Feb 1998 in Mumbai. Someone was said to be behind his death. Because of the way they had an accident, it looked as if someone had attacked them from behind. But it remained a state.

His daughter Harmeet Kaur is in love with him. She used to go shooting with her father. Harmeet Kaur says my father was great, she will be proud of him and every birth she became his daughter. I thanks Harmeet who shared the information with us.
