Amitoj Mann was born on February 10 in the village of Mararan to the famous lyricist Babu Singh Mann. As a child, it was great to meet artists at home. The son of a doctor is often called the son of a doctor. The lawyer is the son of a lawyer. But this was not the case here. As a child, Amitoj saw himself as an actor and director.Fighting a lot while studying in college.The family is worried about Amitoj. Perhaps that is why Babu Singh Mann sent Amitoj to Bombay.  The film was released in 2003.Hawayein is a film which emerges from the consequences of the BlueStar Operation and is based on the aftermath of India's Prime Minister, Mrs. Indira Gandhi's assassination in 1984 – the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Delhi and other places in India, and the subsequent victimization of the people of Punjab in the years that followed. This film depicts real life events and most of the situations shown are authentic seen through the eyes of the "Sarabjeet". It is the story of his journey from innocence to disillusionment, from being a simple, music loving student to becoming one of the most wanted terrorists in the country. This film is an honest exploration of the reasons which led to the angst of the youth of Punjab and the turmoils suffered by their families

 

The film was also banned. But after winning the case in court, the film was re-released in cinemas.The film was well received by the audience and was well received abroad.

In 2007, Amitoj's film Kafila came with Sunny Deol. The theme of the film was based on illegal immigration. The film did not do well. As the years passed, Amitoj was moving from youth to old age. At that time an era of comedy films had started.

For a while, Amitoj shot Babbu Mann's song Langha.Sucha Surma has done a lot of shooting with a film Babbu Mann. This movie too will soon be seen in cinemas.Sucha Soorma that is based on the life of an Indian dacoit and serial killer Sucha Singh aka Sucha Soorma. The folklore had Balbiro as one of the most important characters in the life of Sucha Singh. This character requires the actress to play an adulterous wife, who could also pass on as Babbu Maan’s sister in law. So, initially there was buzz that one of Amitoj Maan’s previous heroines might be given this role and we could only think of Mahie Gill (she was there in Amitoj’s Hawayein) as the actress who can do justice to this character. Mahie has already skinned such characters onscreen before.But surprisingly, Punjabi actress who went on to join the TV world, Sameksha Singh, has been signed for the film. Last seen in Punjabi film Vaapsi, Sameksha seems to be the perfect choice for this bold character. Earlier she did a vampish comical role in Lucky Di Unlucky Story and was last seen as scheming Romanian queen in the television serial Porus. Therefore, she seems to be an apt choice for Balbiro.Sarbjit Cheema is also in the film but it’s still not clear whether he's been given the role of Sucha Singh’s brother Narain Singh or Balbiro’s lover Ghukkar. Now with an interesting star cast, this one is going to be one of the most awaited films of the year.
